The Campbell River School Board has written to the Province over concerns about funding.
Board Chair Susan Wilson says districts have seen an increasing downloading of costs.
Wilson says along with additional costs, the province holds back a portion of the district’s funding each year and gives it out later.
She says this year, the province has decided that hold back will not go out, which was money the district had been counting when doing up its budget.
The letter has also been posted on the school district’s website.
