The Campbell River Syrian Refugee club hit the half-way mark of their fundraising goal.
The money is in support of the families with housing, food, clothing, transportation, and utilities.
Organizer Merell Nassar says they will be having a big Sadie Hawkins Dance February 27 in support of the family.
Nassar says their goal is $150,000.
