North Island College carpentry students are getting hands on experience on the new home for Habitat for Humanity.
Student Krystal Casey says rather than being inside the shop, they get to work outside on a real home for their class.
Casey says it feels good to work in this environment.
The Habitat for Humanity build is going on at 180 Dalton Road.
