Stage one watering restrictions are back on in Campbell River beginning this Sunday, May 1st.
Water Supervisor Nathalie Viau says the watering restrictions will entail that odd-numbered house addresses may only water on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 9 a.m., and 7 to 10 p.m.
Even-numbered house addresses will only be able to water on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays during those same times.
Viau says during last year’s record breaking dry summer, the entire community participated in being mindful of water use, and Campbell River stayed in stage one all season long.
