The Upper Island Safety Conference this week.
Spokesperson Susan Bullock says it’s a chance for workers on the North Island to get health and safety training without having to travel to Victoria or the lower mainland.
The conference runs in Campbell River today, with a two-day post-conference Wednesday and Thursday.
