CREDC Second Quarter Update

The Campbell River Economic Development Corporation updated council this week on their second quarter regarding tourism.
The CREDC director Freeman Mary Ashley says the overall results from the second quarter showed that the city is on an upward trend in terms of visitors to the community, and generally had a good year.
She says for the rest of this year, the CREDC will continue to work on tourism, then let council look into a future module.
The second quarter showed a total of over 27,000 visitors to the Campbell River tourism centre or connecting with the tourism street team this season.
