Regional Coroner investigates ski fatality

A deadly weekend on the slopes of Blackcomb Mountain in Whistler.

Regional Coroner Barb McLintock says 18 year-old Cole Anderson of Campbell River was killed after skiing off a cliff.

Anderson, a competitive skier, normally trained up on Mount Washington but a lack of snow had him venturing to Whistler for his training regime.

Anderson was set to graduate this year at Timberline Secondary in Campbell River.
