Members of the Campbell River Fire Department have been recognized by Campbell River Council.
Fire Chief Ian Baikie says six members were recognized for their service.
Lieutenant Gord Dawson was awarded the 25 year long service award.
Fire Chief Ian Baikie, Captain Ken Dawson, and firefighters Peter Doherty and David Lagos received the 30 years Exemplary Service Metal, and Captain Ed Stawski received a metal for his 35 years of service.
