Things are heating up for the November municipal election, this morning Councillor Andy Adams announced he is running for the mayor’s seat.
Adams who has been on council for nine years says it is time for a change and says he has tried to stay away from the negativity and dysfunction that has plagued they current city council.
He says his number one goal is to bring stability to Campbell River, and says there is a huge passion and desire within the community.
Current Mayor, Walter Jakeway, has previously announced he will be running for re-election.
