The nuisance bylaw over at City Hall is getting reworked and the City is asking for public comment.
City Clerk, Peter Wipper, says “… the bylaw addresses nuisance and disturbances as well as the care, maintenance and regulation of private property within city boundary.”
Under their proposal the RCMP would have more authority to ticket drivers of loud vehicles, but he says it won’t be based off decibel levels.
Wipper says the changes will also cover new rules on littering, graffiti removal, hazardous trees and unkempt lawns.

Members of the community are invited to provide feedback to City Council either in writing or in person at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29 at City Hall. Speakers will have up to five minutes to present.
