An update now on that large wild fire that has been burningĀ on the North Island near Nimkish Lake for over three weeks.
Fire information officer Donna MacPherson says it is now 160 hectares which isĀ about the size of 320 football fields.
MacPherson says crews are being challenged by the area the fire is in, but will continue to work on containing the fire.
The Nimkish fire was started on July 28th.
