Lumber markets down

Things are not looking so good for the forestry industry right now. Dwight Yochim, executive director with the Truck Loggers Association, says the market for lumber has gone down.

Though, Yochim says there is good reason to be optimistic for the fall.

Yochim says right now many logging operations are shut down because of the hot dry summer days. He says they are hoping the market will pick up this fall and when the rain starts all logging operations can go back to full operation.
