The Vancouver Island Major Crime Unit has confirmed that a suspicious death in Sayward is a homicide.
Corporal Janelle Shoihet says the body of 30 year old John Dillian Brown from Saanich was found in Sayward last Saturday night.
The cause of death is not being released, but investigators say it appears to be a targeted event.
