Things are looking really good for marine mammals living in waters off the North Island.
Tessa Danelesko from the BC Cetacean Sightings Network says they have been getting a lot of reported sightings of dolphins and killer whales this summer.
She says they have a theory as to why that is happening.
Denelesko says the whale numbers are likely catching up with that now.
