Still no ID on body found in Oyster River

The BC Coroners Service still have no idea on the identity of the man whose body was found in the Oyster River in early August.

Coroner Matt Brown says so far they have only gotten one tip about the man who is thought to be in his 20s, found wearing a shirt with the a ‘Split’ logo.

Brown says then man was between 5 foot 4 to 5 foot 7 and he likely died in the past two months.

Brown says the further identifying features about the man they can release are the fact both his collar bones and his nose had previously been broken.

Anyone who thinks they may know who this is, is asked to call the Campbell River RCMP.
