BBQ Season Safety

It’s important to be BBQ safe when starting up your BBQ this season.

Fire chief Ian Baikie says there are many things to know before firing up your BBQ for your family and friends.

Baikie says you should always check your BBQ for built up grease, and the rubber propane hose for any cracks.

He also adds to not store propane cylidners in your home, and if you do use a traditional BBQ with briquettes; to only dispose of them in a medal container.
