In three months, a year’s worth of Campbell River Discovery guides has already been distributed.
At last’s night’s council meeting, Economic Development Corporation’s Chair Freeman Mary Ashley asks council to provide $20,000 to Campbell River tourism.
Ashley says they’ve been so successful, they’ve run out of guides completely, and are getting many requests for more.
Council agreed to support the report with existing funding and have the guides head to print as soon as possible.
The guides can be found on BC Ferries, in Victoria, Nanaimo, and in the city’s visitor’s centre.
