Today is property deadline day.
Dennis Brodie with the City of Campbell River says city hall will be open until 4:30 today to collect payment in person.
Late payments will be hit with a 10 per cent penalty.
Brodie notes that even if you can’t pay your property taxes, you should still claim your home owner grant, which will reduce the amount subject to penalty.
