Being cautious while temperatures rise this week

Medical Health officers are reminding people to cautious with activity this week.
Doctor Paul Hasselbeck says while the temperatures in the forecast this week aren’t unusual for summer, they are high compared to what we’ve seen so far this year.
He says it’s that sudden jump that can be difficult to adapt to and can result in health problems.
Hasselback says it’s a good idea to keep an eye out on elderly neighbours or those with other health issues, who may be more affected by the heat.
The forecast is calling for temperatures in the mid-to-high 20’s for the rest of the week.
