Chair of Forestry Task Force is disappointed by a UBCM resolution

The chair of Campbell River’s Forestry Task Force says he’s disappointed by a U-B-C-M resolution calling for a halt to old growth logging on Vancouver Island.
Charlie Cornfield says he understands what the concerns are, but the resolution doesn’t make sense.
Cornfield says work is already underway on developing a session for the next Association of Vancouver Island and Coastal Communities convention to discuss forestry on the island.
Campbell River is hosting that convention next spring.
