It was a busy weekend for the Campbell River Fire Department. Fire Chief Ian Baikie says crews responded to several motor vehicle crashes and a motor home fire.
He says a neighbour called in the fire, and the motor home was fully involved when crews arrived on scene.
Baikie says the motor home was a write-off. He says crews also responded to several flooding-related calls due to all the rain.
Baikie says the department is on track to respond to another record year of calls.
