The many Campbell Riverites who came out to protest the closure of the local SPCA back in 2013 will no doubt be celebrating today as the new SPCA center opens up.
Branch manager Stephanie Arkwright says their new location on 13th avenue is open for business.
She says they also have space for some smaller animals such as rabbits.
Arkwright says they plan to increase their volunteer and education programs in the future.
