Another successful Tour de Rock campaign has ridden by for the year with plenty of Island residents opening their hearts and wallets for a great cause.
Jan Beuller with the Canadian Cancer Society says the tour went amazingly well.
It was a massive physical challenge as well as emotional, riders trained for weeks before embarking on that over 1000 kilometer journey from Port Alice to Victoria.
Money raised will help send children and teens with cancer to camp Good Times and supports pediatric cancer research.
