The provincial government has committed to investing 855 million dollars to affordable housing this year. 68 affordable housing projects will receive funding.
Premier Christy Clark is insisting the province is making progress on the affordable housing issue.
There are 18 projects on the Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island, including one a 21 unit housing project in Campbell River.
