Sandra Clarke with the ACT Foundation says the life-saving CPR and defibrillator training program has been launched in public secondary schools across the Comox Valley.

Clarke adds the program will ensure young people are empowered to save lives at school and outside in the community.

Clarke says the program is available at Highland Secondary, Mark R. Isfeld and GP Vanier.

The ACT Foundation is working alongside BC Emergency Health Services, lead community partner RBC, and health partners AstraZeneca Canada, Pfizer Canada, and Sanofi Canada to get the program in every secondary school across the province.
