Across the province everyone is being reminded we live in an earthquake zone, and what to do if the big one hits.
It is all part of Thursday’s Great BC Shake Out, basically a huge earthquake drill.
The Strathcona Regional District’s emergency program coordinator Howie Siemens has this important reminder for everyone if the big one hits.
Siemens says it is also important for everyone to have grab and go emergency kits filled with enough food, water and emergency equipment so that you can be self sufficient for at least 72 hours.
