BC Ferries’ 12 million dollar project to update the Port McNeill Ferry terminal has wrapped up, as normal ferry service resumes Wednesday.
Deborah Marshal from BC Ferries says the upgrades and renovations will provide a 40 year service life for the terminal.
Marshall says the project went very smoothly and they did much of the work off site preparing the new parts and then the terminal was closed for a month so that everything could be installed.
