BC Ferries CEO Mike Corrigan is responding to that Facebook rant from Sean Smith saying this is an opportunity for them to dispel some of the myths surrounding the company.
Corrigan says claims about the cruise ship style restaurant and gift shop are completely incorrect.
He describes the retail and food services offered on their major vessels.
He also says the answer to why they advertise and run BC Ferries Vacations is straightforward.
Corrigan says that generates about one million dollars towards the bottom line which helps keep fares down.
Corrigan says everything they do is helping to drive down fares.
