At the latest city council meeting it was clear, change is in the air as the new mayor and city council will be sworn in, in two weeks.
Mayor elect Andy Adams took the time to address his colleagues who will not be on the next city council and thank them for their service.
Adams also thanked councilor Mary Story for her professionalism and work on council.
Current mayor Walter Jakeway, who lost in his bid for re-election, took the time to address the councilors.
On December 2, 2014 the new mayor and city council will be sworn in.
