Union concerned about working conditions on new ferries

The B.C. Ferry and Marine Workers’ Union has some concerns with the new Salish-class ships. It says the galleys are too hot.

According to a report in the CBC union president Graeme Johnston says working in them could be hazardous. He added there are significant concerns about health problems the heat could cause workers and wants management to solve the problem.
