Work at the Salmon River diversion project has wrapped up.
BC Hydro spokesperson Stephen Watson says significant process has been made at the project.
“We’ve been able to provide fish passage to Salmon River and Patterson Creek within the industry and Fisheries work window.
We’ve removed the concrete abuttment on the right bank. It’s hard to know there was ever a dam there.”
Watson also notes he’s pleased that the project was completed by the end of summer.
