Shoebox Project returning to Campbell River, expanding to North Island

The Shoebox Project is back, and it’s bigger than ever.

It’s expanded to include the North Island this year. The Shoebox Project collects donations for local women who are in need.

All you have to do is decorate a shoebox, pack it full of small gift items that a woman might enjoy, and then drop it off before December 8th. It’ll then be taken to a women’s shelter or outreach agency for distribution.

Last year over 260 boxes were delivered to 11 organizations in Campbell River. This year they’d like to see 290 for Campbell River and 50 for the North Island.

You can find more information on how you can take part at the Shoebox Project’s website.
