Provincial funding announced as clean up continues from recent storms

‘Everybody came together on this one,’ that from Campbell River Mayor Andy Adams reflecting on the recent storm and flooding we had in here.

He says city crews were busy during the storm making sand bags and helping out in areas of localized flooding and now they are involved in the clean up.

The province has announced funding through the Disaster Financial Assistance program for property and content damages relating to the storms for areas on the Island and Lower Mainland, and Campbell River is on the list.
