Cluster of earthquakes offshore

The Geological Survey of Canada  is reporting an seismic swarm, or cluster of earthquakes, that happened offshore West of Port Hardy over the weekend.

Doctor Honn Kao  research scientist at the Geological Survey of Canada describes what they saw.

Kao says the quakes, that were not felt on land, hit 200 kilometers offshore from Port Hardy.

Kao says these earthquakes happened where two tectonic plates are very actively shifting.
