Some traffic control is coming to the intersection of Maryland Road and Highway 19A. Campbell River council has approved the scheduling of the design and construction of traffic lights there.
The design is to be finished next year with construction to wrap up in 2019. That timeline was budgeted in the city’s financial plan.
