One of the possible spots for the new fire hall in Campbell River is getting some pushback.
The city is looking at relocating the No. 1 Fire Hall to Westmere and Dogwood, but dozens of residents say they don’t want it there.
A petition of 33 names was given to city council at Monday’s meeting. All of the signatories opposed that location.
The city is looking to make its final decision on a location as the funding for the hall’s development was approved in last month’s budget planning sessions.
