The Strathcona Regional District hasn’t made many big changes in their 2014 budget, but it does mean a tax hike for Campbell River home owners that will be about $10 on average.
The chief administrative officer with the District, Russ Hotsenpiller, says the 13 million dollar budget is up 1 per cent over last year.
He says there are two main areas the money will be spent, operations and maintenance, and there is some money for capital expenditures.
