Armed Robbery at Husky Gas Station

On Tuesday January 6, 2015 at 3:44 am, Campbell River RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Husky Gas Station located at 1830 Island Highway, Campbell River.

A lone suspect entered the store and produced a black hand gun and told the clerk to give her all the money from the till.  The clerk had no cash in the till at that hour and told the suspect this.  The clerk had $5 in her wallet and gave the suspect that.  The suspect fled, possibly in a dark coloured sedan.

The clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian female, 5’1, heavy set and possibly in her late 20’s, early 30’s.  The suspect was wearing a dark grey hoodie with the hood up, black sweatpants tight at the ankles or tucked into black boots, blue hair poking out from under her hood, sunglasses, black gloves and a black bandana covering her lower face.

All available police resources were utilized including the Police Service Dog and Campbell River RCMP Major Crime Unit, however the suspect was not apprehended.
