TimberWest makes donation to hospital’s Gathering Place

TimberWest Forest is getting behind healthcare that’s both welcoming and reflective of its location.

The company has made a donation to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation. That foundation says it’ll be used to benefit the hospital’s Gathering Place.

That’s an all-inclusive, non-denominational space for quiet reflection and ceremony. It’s furnished throughout with First Nation artwork.

The Gathering Place is a joint effort between Island Health, First Nations Health Authority, and the Aboriginal communities of the North Island.
