Expectations are that over the next few years market demand for lumber is going to rise creating a growing demand for BC lumber, that from Jim Girvan the interim executive director of the Truck Loggers Association.
He says China and the US are the two key drivers behind this expectation.
Girvan says that means there will be opportunities for local wood workers.
