Storm sweep Westshore to advance to finals

COLWOOD, B.C.- The Campbell River Storm are headed to their fourth VIJHL championship in a row. The Storm crushed the Westshore Wolves in Colwood last night 6-2 to complete the sweep.

As they did in the opening round of the playoffs the Storm utterly dominated their opponent, outscoring the Wolves in the four games 23-5.  The Storm dispatched the Peninsula Panthers in the opening round in five games, outscoring them 24-8.

The Storm will face either the Nanaimo Buccaneers or the Saanich Braves, depending on the outcome of that series, for the Brent Patterson Memorial Trophy.  The Buccaneers lead that series 2-1.
