CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C.-The city is keeping Coastal Animal Control Services of BC around.
Council has awarded the company another five-year contract. The deal is worth $138,000 a year. The company has been providing animal control and pound services for the City of Campbell River and area for the past five years.
Coastal Animal Control Services of BC combines active enforcement and educating park users about dog bylaws and leash requirements. They also run additional patrols in the evening and on weekends in Campbell River from May to September.
