The local school district has a new strategic plan that will be setting out goals for the district up until 2018.
Susan Wilson Chair of the School District 72 Board of Trustees says they met with stake holders and heard from students and families in the creation of the plan.
She says one of the main goals in the plan is providing personalized learning opportunities.
Wilson says a few of the other key goals are providing a safe caring and engaging learning environment, providing enhanced learning facilities and enhancing and expanding community relations.
She adds people can read the full strategic plan document on the school district website and can submit further suggestions or feed back there.
