Stolen Fergus the Fox sculpture returned

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C.-Fergus the Fox has found his way home.

Fergus is the driftwood sculpture created by Campbell River artist Alex Witcombe of Drifted Creations.

The sculpture had been stolen from its location in the Beaver Lodge Lands trails last Wednesday. Fergus was returned to the Beaver Lodge parking lot this morning.

Witcombe says it’s great that the sculpture has been returned, and that it was “crappy” it was stolen in the first place as there were so many people enjoying searching for it.

Fergus had been put in a secret location on the trails with the idea being people had to find it. Witcombe says Fergus is going to be put in a new location, but that location will be kept a secret at first as well.
