CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C- According to CTV News, a woman is dead after being struck by a falling tree along the Ripple Rock Trail today.
The news agency’s report states that the Campbell River RCMP are working with the BC Coroner’s Service, after the woman was struck by the tree on the trail.
The Coast Guard was called in to bring the woman back to the city. A police car and ambulance were present on the dock in Campbell River this afternoon, according to the report. The Coast Guard vessel was docking at the time.
