CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. – The results came in late in the night, but the unofficial school board trustees for the coming term are the following:
- Joyce McMann, with 3,542 votes
- John Kerr, with 3,367 votes
- Richard Franklin, with 2,902 votes
- Daryl Hagen, with 2,797 votes
- Kat Eddy, with 2,572 votes
- Shannon Briggs, acclaimed
- Susan Wilson, acclaimed
Kat Eddy will be serving as a school board trustee for the first time.
Andrew Beaudin, Manfred Hack, and Vanessa MacLean did not manage to get a seat on the board. The three candidates were running on a platform against the provincially approved SOGI 123 resource.
