Busy times for Campbell River’s John Hart Generating Station Replacement Project, with crews at work on the rock tunneling phase for the two underground portals.
We touched base with project spokesperson Stephen Watson.
The 1-billion dollar plus mega-project is set for completion in the fall of 2018. Right now about 185 workers are on site, with about fifty local companies on board the project but Watson says more companies will come on board as the project progresses.
