BC’s Education Minister Peter Fassbender’s on a tour throughout the region, focusing on new innovation strategies for students.
He says that as far as education goes, the ministry has lots of plans going forward.
As part of the tour, he’s been promoting the K-12 Innovation Strategy.
The Strategy is designed to help teachers take approaches that move personalized learning from concept to everyday practice and more hand-on learning in the classroom.
He says that going forward the Ministry needs to focus on how they can transform the system to meet the needs of what is now a “global world”.
