Community centre re-opens after closing due to heating problem

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. – The Campbell River Community Centre was closed on Friday.

According to a social media post from the Recreation and Culture Department, there was a problem with the community centre’s heating.

Heating has since been restored, but the centre remained closed on Friday. According to another post from the department, it was to let the building “reach temperature”.

The community centre will re-open for the weekend, with Saturday activity programming resuming as usual.
