Quadra Island brush fire “growing”, crews en route

QUADRA ISLAND, BC – Fire crews on Quadra Island are on their way to fight a growing brush fire.

According to a call to the fire department, a fire got out of hand at the bottom of Industrial Way.

The fire was the size of “2-3 cars” and was reportedly “growing”.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
